John and Lilly's story began in February of 2024.

One afternoon, a mutual friend showed Lilly a few pictures of John and asked if she might be interested in him. Of course, Lilly said, "absolutely!"

Soon after, the two began chatting on social media and instantly hit it off. Lilly decided to make the first move (who says that is a man's job?) and asked John out for ice cream at Kalawi Farms only to realize that the farm didn't open until spring! Not one to give up easily, she suggested another date the following Sunday.

Their first date was a simple movie date, though they spent most of it talking and laughing instead of watching the film. The connection was effortless, and conversation flowed naturally, and it felt like they had known each other forever.

From that point on, they were inseparable. They went out again on Tuesday, then Thursday, and again on Sunday and it quickly became clear that something truly special was growing between them.

John and Lilly are beyond grateful for the journey that brought them together and for the love and support they have received along the way. They cannot wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife and to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by their closest friends and family.
